Welcome to my backyard bird watching blog. My name is John Taylor and I live in the beautiful mountains of western West Virginia in Putnam County with my wife Amanda. I am blessed to see a large variety of birds and other wildlife year round, right in my backyard. I enjoy taking pictures of these amazing birds (and other animals) that frequently visit the bird feeders in my backyard. I also enjoy traveling around West Virginia to capture incredible pictures of birds throughout the state. My goal of this blog is to share bird photos that my wife and I have taken with anyone who is interested in birds and nature.
